Dubailand is a vast residential and entertainment development by Dubai Properties. Originally envisioned as a 2 billion sq. ft. mega project incorporating residential, commercial, and leisure elements, the current Dubailand spans approximately 3 million sq. ft. and is segmented into several districts. These include Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, Dubailand Oasis, Layan, Majan, Falcon City of Wonders, Living Legends, Villanova, Rukan, Tiger Woods, and Al Waha. Essentially a city within Dubai, it features attractions such as a theme park, a polo club, hotels, and a variety of housing options.
Launched by Tatweer in October 2003, the Dubailand project initially aimed to create six themed worlds integrated within its residential and entertainment zones. Eventually, Dubai Properties Group took over the project, restructuring it into standalone developments. Some of these, such as Dubai Sports City, Dubai Motor City, Mudon, and Arabian Ranches, were originally part of the master plan but have since gained recognition as independent communities.
Conveniently located off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), Dubailand is a growing community with its sub-districts at various stages of development. According to Bayut's Annual Sales Report 2024, it ranks among the top choices for affordable villa living. For investors, Living Legends stands out as one of the prime areas to purchase property within Dubailand.
