Conceived as a dynamic urban hub, Majan is being developed by leading real estate companies Mizin Real Estate and Tameer Holdings. The project was launched in 2006, and today the area features a well-developed infrastructure network, including paved roads, utilities, and essential public services.

Approximately 32% of the land is dedicated to residential developments, which consist mainly of mid-rise apartment buildings that cater to a range of lifestyle needs—from affordable housing to premium units.
